Requiring 4 players probably wasn't a very good design choice, but it applies to a lot of things in this game, even when you can tolerate over monetization. At the same time, the servers are starting to be seriously deserted, and the exodus of players will rush, since it becomes more and more difficult to make a Dungeon or a Hidden Lair, for lack of players. The backlash has even manifested in-person at BlizzCon, with one attendee sarcastically asking the Diablo developers if the game’s announcement was “an out-of-season April Fool’s joke.” Blizzard responded by saying “No, it’s a fully-fledged Diablo experience on mobile.” Additionally, there are reports on Reddit that negative comments are being removed from the trailers – though there are currently still plenty there to read.
